![]() In other words, what is this black spring loaded screw/what does it do? Thanks. It seems to idle perfectly now, and the bike seems to start and run pretty darn good otherwise. I was just wondering if the black spring loaded screw is the proper adjustment screw for setting the initial idle (it actually seemed to adjust the throttle position, therefore adjusting the idle), since the instructions for the carb did not mention this black screw at all. ![]() I set the air screw at 1 1/2 screws out from seated, and I turned the black spring loaded screw in pretty far IN to get the bike to finally idle. The instructions only mentioned the air screw, but I was wondering what the black, spring loaded screw that is above the fuel inlet hose, and above the air screw does? It seed to adjust the idle.
